The President of the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dave Owen, has been holding a number of pre-legislative meetings with local chambers around the state.
At his stop in Yankton, Owen says any effort at Medicaid expansion will depend on what happens in Washington…..

Owen says it was probably a good move to back away from expansion at the moment…..

Owen says he doesn’t think legislators are thinking about any tax increases in the next session…..

The legislature opens on January 10th.
