SD Legislature Authorizes Public Land Sales in Yankton & Redfield

Governor Dennis Daugaard has signed a pair of bills that allows the state to begin the process of selling land at the Human Services Center campus in Yankton, and the South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield.
Commissioner of School and Public Lands Ryan Brunner says they will begin the process very soon…..

Brunner says there are sales agreements in place for some of the land…..

Brunner says the law allows them to sell the land over time if necessary…..

Brunner says there are a number of possibilities for the land at the Redfield campus….

Brunner says they could see some movement on the land by mid-summer.
