Members of the Joint Committee on Appropriations of the South Dakota legislature spent three days last week touring east river state facilities.
Committee Co-Chair, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says it was very productive..

Hunhoff says many members had never seen some of the facilities they are responsible for funding…

Besides Yankton, the committee made stops in Vermillion, Sioux Falls, Brookings, Huron, and Redfield. The committee will make a similar tour later this summer in west river South Dakota.
