SD Legislators Struggling with Nursing Home Bills

Two summer study committees last year dealt with nursing homes, and finding money to pay those providers.
So far, bills related to those committees have had mixed results.
One bill that would have allowed nursing homes to sell extra beds was killed, another that would help rural nursing homes recruit workers will be up for another hearing this week.
