SD Legislators Ready to Deal with Veto Day

South Dakota legislators return to Pierre on Monday for the final day of the 2017 session.
Governor Dennis Daugaard has vetoed five bills, which lawmakers will consider.
Among them, two bills dealing with concealed carry of hand guns.
Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton says he doesn’t think there are the votes to over ride those……

Stevens says the state already has liberal gun permit rules…..

Senator Craig Kennedy of Yankton says another veto deals with the special education funding formula….

Kennedy says the Governor also vetoed a bill rolling back a communications tax….

A bill dealing with juvenile offenders was also vetoed.
