Members of the Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota legislature are following up on the questions around the state Appraiser Certification Program and the possible intervention of Governor Kristi Noem to help her daughter obtain the certification.

Senator Reynold Nesiba of Sioux Falls attempted to question Labor Secretary Marcia Hultman but was diverted by Committee Chairman Senator Kyle Schoenfish of Scotland..

Nesiba questioned Hultman about the Governor intervening in any other certification application…

Representative Linda Duba of Sioux Falls asked Hultman about the presence of Noems daughter during the meeting about her certification case….

Sherry Bren, who was the head of the Certification Program was invited to the committee hearing, but declined to appear.
