When South Dakota legislators convene for the last day of the 2020 session on Monday, there may be some talk but probably not action on any budget revisions.

House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte says they probably don’t have enough information yet to make changes….

Its expected that the business cutbacks due to the coronavirus outbreak will have a major impact on state sales taxes.

Qualm says they do have some days the could add later..

Qualm says it looks like it will be a major blow to the states economy…

A few legislators will be in the state Capitol in Pierre but most members will join the session remotely.
