South Dakota legislators will be scrambling to find compromises on taxes and spending to wrap up the final day of the main run of this year’s session.
Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, Chair of the Joint Committee on Appropriations, says they are working on spending bills and waiting on any tax cut legislation….
Hunhoff says there is a deadlock between the House and Senate over a sales tax cut….
Hunhoff says its possible they postpone budget and tax cut action until veto day…..
Legislators return to Pierre on March 25th for the final scheduled day of this year’s session.
