As South Dakota lawmakers look for dollars to fund higher teacher pay this year, many are turning to sales tax exemptions.

Many of the exemptions are on the sale of Ag related products and services. Many legislators see the exemptions as a possible fall back position from a half cent sales tax increase the governor has proposed.
