South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem gave her first budget address to legislators Wednesday. In it, she made recommendations for spending fifty-four million dollars more than what former Governor Dennis Daugaard had proposed in December.

The budget will now be referred to the Appropriations Committees where it will be taken apart then reassembled for a final bill at the end of the session.
