A petition calling for a special session of the South Dakota legislature to consider the impeachment of Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg is circulating to members of the House and Senate.

Two thirds of both Houses would have to agree to call themselves into a special session. Governor Kristi Noem could also call the legislature back to Pierre.
