Senator Deb Peters of Hartford has become the President-elect of the National Conference of State Legislatures. The group serves as a resource for the legislative bodies in all fifty states.
Peters says the national group is a good resource, especially for a state like South Dakota, with a part time legislature…..
Peters says the national organization doesn’t get into partisan issues…..
Peters says despite the issues the state has, she says South Dakota is much better off than most other states…………
Peters will move up to President of the group next year.
