The State of South Dakota will get about three point three billion dollars under the “American Rescue Plan” passed by Congress earlier this spring.

Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, will be a member of the special work group set up by the legislatures Executive Board to direct how those dollars are spent…

Hunhoff says the spending rules haven’t been set by the feds yet…

The Executive Board is scheduled to meet again on June second.
