With only 4 days left of the South Dakota Legislative session, discussions are ramping up to move through the final bills. South Dakota Farm Bureau Lobbyist Matt Bogue says the Governor’s workforce housing bill was one of the main points of focus last week.

Another bill passed last week was HB 1032 which makes an appropriation to the Board of Technical Education to construct an agriculture and diesel power laboratory and multi-purpose space on the campus of Mitchell Technical College. Bogue says this bill helps address a growing need for the state.

The legislative session concludes Thursday, March 10th with Veto Day scheduled for March 28th.
