The House and Senate Redistricting Committees of the South Dakota legislature meet Monday in Pierre. Its their first gathering since the release of the 2020 Census information. The committee must come up with new legislative district maps.

Cwach says its like changing one piece of a puzzle and then making all the other pieces fit. A special legislative session is scheduled for November to approve the new maps.
