The Executive Director of the University Center in Sioux Falls appeared before the Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota Legislature this week.
Craig Johnson says they are adapting to the management change put in place this spring that put the University of South Dakota in charge of the facility……

The center was opened as a cooperative effort between USD, South Dakota State University and Dakota State University.

Legislators called Johnson to appear because of concerns about falling enrollment.
Johnson says they have seen numbers fall since 2011………

Johnson says they do have a good potential pool of students in the Sioux Falls area……

Johnson says the strong job market in the area is also diverting potential students.
