A solution to the standoff between sportsmen and owners of flooded land in South Dakota may be on the fast track.
An interim legislative committee on regulation of non-meandered waters held two days of hearings this week in Aberdeen.
Committee Chairman, Representative Lee Qualm of Platte says they are looking for a compromise….
Qualm says he would like to see the legislature act in a special session as soon as next month…..
Qualm says both sides agree the situation has to change….
The committee will meet again on May 24th.
