SD Legislative Committee Postpones Decision on Lake Access Bill

A South Dakota legislative committee, considering legislation to open up a number of closed lakes, put off final action until next week.
The committee took public testimony at their meeting Wednesday in Pierre.

The committee decided to meet again on June 2nd. A special session of the legislature could be called for June 12th.

The lakes were closed following a state Supreme Court ruling on access to flooded land.
