SD Legislative Committee Passes Prescription Drug Registry Bill

While the Governor and Attorney General have task forces looking at meth use and abuses in the state, a legislative committee passed a pair of bills dealing with prescription drug issues and improved monitoring

Representative Mike Stevens of Yankton, Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, testified in front of the House Health and Human Services Committee.
He said a summer study committee he served on decided to follow up on prescription drug abuse……..

The committee passed both bills, SB1 and SB4 on unanimous thirteen to zero votes.
