The Joint Committee on Appropriations of the South Dakota legislature will continue working through budget requests of state departments and agencies.
Committee Chair, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton says they may ask some of the bigger agencies to come back…
Hunhoff says they heard from the Board of Regents last week and their enrollment challenges…..
Hunhoff says the it shouldn’t be difficult for the Regents to keep their tuition freeze for another year….
The committee will start their week with hearings on the Departments of Corrections and Health.
