Diversity efforts and offices on state university campuses has the attention of some lawmakers.

Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, Chair of the Appropriations Committee, says policy committees should take the lead..

The Appropriations Committee will tour state facilities next month and Hunhoff says stops at USD in Vermillion and SDSU in Brookings will further explore the status of those diversity offices.
