The Joint Committee on Appropriations of the South Dakota legislature spent most of last week touring west river state facilities.

Committee Co-Chair, Senator Jean Hunhoff of Yankton, says they spent quite a bit of time at South Dakota State’s Cottonwood Experiment Station….

Hunhoff says they had a big delegation there….

Hunhoff says the heard about needed repairs and expansions of the station….

Hunhoff says the request, still being finalized, will be for millions of dollars.
