SD Housing Pressed for Slow Rules Rollout

The Executive Board of the South Dakota legislature got an update on the rules for using two hundred million dollars in state and federal dollars for infrastructure development.

That was part of the first bill passed by this years session of the legislature in January.

South Dakota Housing interim executive director Chas Olson says they are still working through the necessary rules…

Olson says they have been amending the rules as they go through the process…

Olson was asked how soon the money could be distributed…

The rules have to be approved by the South Dakota Housing Board and then the Rules Review Committee of the legislature.
