A bill that would prohibit a doctor from performing any gender changing surgery on a minor will be up for debate in the South Dakota House this week. It passed out of the State Affairs Committee last week.

At the District 18 legislative forum this weekend, Representative Ryan Cwach of Yankton said legislators should not be involved..

Cwach says all of the bill supporters came from out of state..

Cwach says the bill could not be enforced…..

The bill is on the Wednesday House calendar.
