South Dakota House Speaker Mark Mickelson says Marsys Law should be repealed and replaced.
He says the amendment goes beyond what is needed…….
Supporters got enough petition signatures to get the amendment on the ballot, which voters approved last year.
Mickelson says many law enforcement agencies are having issues with the law……
Mickelson says it is another case of out of state interests becoming involved in state issues……
Mickelson says he will proposed changes in the next session of the legislature that would then go before voters in November of next year.
