SD House Passes Bills Restricting CRT Instruction & Political Indoctrination

The South Dakota House debated a pair of bills dealing with teaching CRT in universities and political indoctrination in schools.

Prime Sponsor Representative Sue Peterson of Sioux Falls said the measures will protect students…..

Representative Jamie Smith of Sioux Falls said the bills were introduced out of fear….

That bill passed on a vote of 54 to 14. A related bill, HB1337, the protection from political indoctrination, passed on a vote of 50 to 18. Both bills now head to the Senate.
