The South Dakota House moved quickly Monday to override a style and form veto of HB1217 by Governor Kristi Noem.

She had attempted to rewrite several sections of the trans-gender, women in sports bill.

That didn’t sit well with bill sponsor, Representative Rhonda Milstead of Hartford….

Representative Jon Hansen of Dell Rapids says the Governor clearly changed the intent of the bill…

The veto was defeated by a vote of sixty seven to two, with one excused.
