Funding for major housing development is hung up in the South Dakota House. The plan backed by Governor Kristi Noem would allocate two hundred million dollars to loan and grant funds for housing infrastructure.

The House pulled one hundred fifty million dollars in state funds from the bill, leaving fifty million in federal funds. The Senate had earlier approved the entire package.
