South Dakota House leaders are defending their actions after a confrontation between two republican legislators.
Representative Lynne DiSanto of Box Elder said that Representative David Johnson of Rapid City used threatening language and actions which scared her on the House floor.
House Majority Leader Lee Qualm of Platte says he was involved in it………
Qualm says it was DiSantos decision to not pursue the issue……
Assistant Majority Leader Kent Peterson of Salem says they wanted to work it out in the republican caucus……
DiSanto was critical of leadership for trying to brush aside her concerns.
