The South Dakota House and Senate Legislative Redistricting Committees are going their separate directions on redrawing new district maps.

Representative Drew Dennert of Aberdeen introduced the map called “Grouse two point oh” to the committee….

Dennert then added an outline of how the map was drawn…

Committee Chairman Jon Hansen of Dell Rapids set another meeting this week to finalize details….

Legislators are scheduled to meet in a special session on November 8th to approve a final map.
