The South Dakota House Monday again debated and then passed SB41, which dedicates two hundred million dollars to housing infrastructure development.
The bill had been delayed from last week due to several attempts at amending the bill.
Representative Liz May of Kyle tried to add another amendment to take off the emergency clause…..
That amendment was defeated.
Representative Chris Karr of Sioux Falls says there are still too many unanswered questions about the bill….
Representative Drew Peterson of Salem says small towns need the boost…..
The bill passed on a 54 to 16 vote and now goes to Governor Kristi Noem.
