The South Dakota Highway Patrol wants drivers to stay focused on the road, and fight increasing distractions.
Superintendent, Colonel Craig Price says it has become more than just texting and driving……
Price says they are seeing more accidents where a distraction was involved….
Price says distractions, along with lack of seat belt use lead to most injuries and deaths.
In 2016, South Dakota recorded one hundred sixteen people killed in fatal accidents on state highways.
