The first confirmed cases of coronavirus have been reported in South Dakota. Governor Kristi Noem made the announcement at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
One person, a man in the 60 to 69 age from Pennington County has died. The other cases are in Beadle, Charles Mix, Davison and Minnehaha Counties.

State Health Department Secretary Kim Malsam-Rysdon says they will be working with those infected, tracking their movements and contacts…..
Noem asked state residents to prepare and take common sense precautions.
