South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard says he is open to calling a special session of the legislature this summer if an agreement can be worked out on non-meandered lakes.
A committee is working rapidly to find a compromise.
Daugaard says if that happens, he will call lawmakers back to Pierre…..

The state Supreme Court ruled earlier this year that neither landowners or sportsmen have superior rights to water that has flooded private land.

The committee meets again next Wednesday in Pierre.
