The meeting of the Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota legislature this morning started with a disagreement over approval of minutes from their last meeting.
Senator Stace Nelson of Fulton objected to the proposed minutes……….
Nelson and Committee Chair, Senator Deb Peters of Hartford also disagreed over the functioning of the committee…..
After more discussion, the committee approved the minutes on a five to four vote. Peters said Nelson may be able to submit a dissenting report under legislative rules.
