The South Dakota Farm Bureau is recommending a no vote on four ballot measures up before voters this November. Farm Bureau President Scott VanderWal says they don’t like Initiated Measure 22 which calls for revising of campaign finance laws and is being pushed by an out of state group.
He says they’re also advising a no vote on Constitutional Amendment T, which if approved would change the state’s redistricting process.
VanderWal says they also oppose Constitutional Amendment V which makes elections non partisan other than that for President and Vice President.
Additionally, they’re recommending a no vote on Initiated Measure 23 which would end South Dakota’s Right to Work law.
