Electors from all fifty states will meet on Monday to officially cast their votes for President and Vice President.
The three electors from South Dakota are Governor Dennis Daugaard, Lieutenant Governor Matt Michels, and Senator John Thune. Michels has a family obligation on Monday, so state Republican Party Chair Pam Roberts has been appointed to replace him. She says she will vote for the winner of the state’s balloting……

Congress will meet on January 6th, and count the electoral votes, and certify the results.
