District 16 Senator Bill Shorma of Dakota Dunes says he will run for re-election this fall, to the state House……

Representative Jim Bolin of Canton has already announced he is running for the Senate seat in District 16.
Shorma, who was appointed by Governor Dennis Daugaard last spring to the Senate seat, says he has enjoyed his first session in Pierre….

Shorma says he is looking forward to the full election campaign…..

Shorma says it is possible he could face a primary election for one of the two House seats in the district.
