The South Dakota Department of Public Safety, along with several local law enforcement agencies, have come up with a three-day information release policy.

Attorney General Marty Jackley had issued an opinion that victims had to opt in to the provisions of the new law. Mangan says they took that into consideration…..

Officials from Pennington and Minnehaha Counties, and the City of Sioux Falls have also agreed to the guidelines.
