The South Dakota Department of Agriculture is about done with a four-year project to help counties find the best sites for rural development.
Jeremy Freking, co-director for Outreach and Operations in the Ag Department, says the study took in a number of factors….

The work has been done in fifty-seven counties. Nine counties choose not to participate. The information is available on the Department of Agriculture website.
