The Chair of the South Dakota Democratic Party says more accountability is needed in state government, and especially in the legislature.
Ann Tornberg says legislators have not provided enough oversight…..

Tornberg says the EB5 program is an example of what can happen…..

The EB5 program allowed foreigners to invest a half million dollars in development projects in exchange for a resident visa.

Tornberg says they have a plan to restore confidence….

Republican party Executive Director Ryan Budmayr says some democrats support a ballot measure that would remove party labels from candidates as an example of democrats issues with openness. The democratic party has not taken an official position on the issue.
