With the next round of sign-ups for insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act opening up on November first, several insurance companies have either announced large premium increases, or that they will drop out of the coverage pool.
South Dakota democratic Senate candidate Jay Williams of Yankton says the current system, while a good first step, is a bad hybrid at best……

Williams says the ACA has changed insurance rules for everyone…..

Williams says many insurance companies are doing very well under the current system…..

Williams says he would support extending a public option that would allow people to buy into Medicare at any age.
Williams is facing incumbent republican Senator John Thune in next month’s election.
Willams was a guest on “Drivetime with Fred & Tom” on 570 WNAX yesterday.
