The South Dakota Department of Transportation is waiting on the whims of Congress to confirm their future funding.
Department Secretary Joel Jundt updated the Transportation Commission on their federal funding status……
Jundt says they are also working through the details of the federal “Buy American” act that will have an impact on future projects….
Jundt says they will be meeting with vendors and general contractors to outline the new rules….
The January meeting will have the first bids on construction projects for next spring and summer.
