South Dakota Corn Growers Association members gather in Sioux Falls Saturday for their annual meeting. The resolution session gets underway at 8:30 am. President Troy Knecht says they’ll be talking about wetlands, conservation, and ethanol.
He says their biggest concern with conservation compliance is how wetlands are determined.
Knecht says a resolution on ethanol targets the best way to achieve higher renewable fuel levels.
Knecht says they’re supporting legislation introduced to provide funding for the Precision Ag Building at South Dakota State University. He says they’ll hear from SDSU President Barry Dunn at their meeting about those efforts.
