The US House and Senate are working on budget plans, and in some cases waiting for the other chamber to act.

A spending limit of one point oh seven trillion dollars was set last fall. Noem says that limit is also up for debate….
Noem says they will push ahead no matter what the Senate does, or doesn’t do with the budget…..
Budget progress this year may fall victim to the shortened schedule because of election year politics.
