SD Congresswoman Kristi Noem Defends Omnibus Spending Bill

The last bill passed by Congress before they left Washington last month was the one point one trillion dollar omnibus spending bill.
It was criticized by many, especially republicans, as spending too much, on many of the wrong programs.

South Dakota Congresswoman Kristi Noem voted for the bill, and says there were a lot of good programs in the bill….

Noem says the bill added a number of tax provisions that had been extended temporarily…..

Noem says another important provision lifted the ban on oil exports from the US……

She says the alternative was another continuing resolution, which didn’t carry any policy initiatives.
