Negotiations are set to begin this week on a compromise tax cut bill. A House – Senate conference committee will attempt to find a common bill that members of both chambers can accept.
A report from the Joint Committee on Taxation says the current bill would lead to a deficit gap of over one point three trillion dollars.
South Dakota Congresswoman Kristi Noem, a member of the conference committee, says that report doesn’t include dynamic economic changes……
Noem says South Dakota’s budget is reflecting changes in spending habits….
Noem says their tax plan will increase the take home pay of South Dakota households……
Republicans in control of Congress are saying they will have a final bill to the President by the end of the year.
