The South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association has hired a new Executive Director to replace current director Jodie Anderson who’s stepping down October 1 to pursue other interests. Cattlemen’s President Eric Jennings says University of South Dakota Law School Grad Taya Runyan has been chosen to lead the cattle group starting in October.

He says Runyan who got her law degree from USD has an excellent background that makes her a great fit for the Executive Director’s position.

Jennings says Runyan should be able to hit the ground running on the several challenges and issues being faced by their Association.

Jennings says Runyan has been working with current director Jodie Anderson for the past month transitioning into the new job.
