South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association members just recently wrapped up their annual convention. The group chose Larry Stomprud to serve another term as President of the organization. He wants to focus on improving trade opportunities for members as well, as focus on the next farm bill.

He says a Foot and Mouth Vaccine Bank is needed because if an outbreak of the disease occurred it would devastate the industry.

Stomprud says at the Association level he wants to build the organization’s membership and improve the committee process.

Stomprud says they had a great turnout of members and vendors at the convention.
