The South Dakota Board of Regents meets this week at Dakota State University in Madison.
One of the issues they will talk about are the university centers, located in Rapid City, Pierre and Sioux Falls. The Centers have struggled to find students and a mission.
Regents President Bob Sutton of Sioux Falls, says they will try to define more of a role for the centers……
Sutton says the Pierre community has stepped up to keep that center in operation…..
Sutton says they want to see how the changes made at the centers play out……
The Regents had a consultant do a study and report on the possible future functions of the centers.
